Frequently asked questions about star tents
The StellarLite star tent consists of a polyester fabric of 270 g/m². The mast is made of anodized aluminum with a diameter of 75 mm. The roof and side walls are extremely light, yet incredibly strong. All sails are waterproof, mold resistant, UV blocking and fire retardant (M1). The StellarLite star tent is ideal for short-term use.
The Stellar star tent, on the other hand, consists of a heavier PVC of 580 g/m² or 800 g/m² (different types are available). The pole is made of aluminum with a diameter of 10.5 cm and a wall thickness of 4 mm. All sails are wind and waterproof, mold resistant, UV blocking and fire resistant. The Stellar is therefore extremely sturdy and ideal for long-term use.
Since there are many different types of anchoring, for the star tent, the anchoring kit is not included with the star tent.
You can choose between anchoring for a hard surface, with concrete blocks, for example, or soft ground, with pegs. Discover all anchoring options here.
It is possible to print the StellarLite star tent. The entire tent can be printed with a logo, slogan or photos. The side walls can also be printed. Read more about printing the star tent here.
The Stellar star tent cannot be printed.
For the StellarLite, only sidewall sets are available. This set consists of two closed side walls, two side walls with a roll-up door and two panoramic side walls.
For the Stellar star tent you can buy side walls separately. Separate side walls are available for the Stellar. Here you have the choice between closed side walls and side walls with a panoramic window.
The star tent StellarLite is more for short-term use, for example for events such as weddings where the tent is set up for a few days at the most.
The star tent type Stellar can remain set up for a long time. The tent is designed to take a beating and stay up for several weeks to months.
