Over the years, we have grown in terms of product range, expertise and international presence. This growth called for greater clarity and one recognisable name for all our solutions. That is why the folding tents you previously knew as Flexxum are now integrated within Above & Beyond.
What was Flexxum?
For many years, Flexxum was our product name for durable, user-friendly and stable folding tents. The brand was primarily chosen by professionals who required reliability, fast setup and a long service life.
Thanks to intensive use across a wide range of applications — from markets and events to public services — Flexxum grew into a name that is still recognised and searched for today.
From Flexxum to a strong brand story
Where Flexxum once stood for folding tents as a standalone product, Above & Beyond today represents a much broader offering. Our folding tents remain just as strong, stable and well-engineered, but are now part of a clearly structured range.

Anyone looking to buy a folding tent will quickly notice that the differences between suppliers are significant. Quality, stability, ease of use and durability determine whether a tent will last for many years or need to be replaced after a short time.

1. Material quality
Material quality is essential. We deliberately choose aluminium frames with robust connectors made from cast aluminium. Steel frames are heavier, more prone to corrosion and deform more quickly under intensive use.
Aluminium is lightweight, extremely strong, corrosion-resistant and fully recyclable. Thanks to its lower density, we can work with a thicker wall profile without making the frame unnecessarily heavy.
The roof fabric is equally crucial. Choose polyester with a minimum weight of 250 g/m² or PVC with at least 350 g/m². Our polyester fabrics weigh 320 g/m² and are finished with a PVC coating to ensure maximum waterproof performance. PVC fabrics of 400 g/m² offer additional flexibility and strength, combined with a matte finish for a premium appearance.
All fabrics are reinforced at contact points with the frame and come with fire safety certifications such as M1, M2 or B1.
2. Components, warranty and repairability
A high-quality folding tent is a sustainable investment. That is why it is important that all components are available separately. In case of damage, the tent does not need to be replaced but can be easily repaired.
At Above & Beyond, all components are available individually, including scissor elements, connectors, foot plates, tent legs, roof fabrics, sidewalls, spring mechanisms and bolt sets.

Within Above & Beyond, you will now find two clearly defined folding tent lines that build on the proven Flexxum quality.
