Description
Eucalyptus Wooden Pole Set for 6,5x10m Stretch Tent
This eucalyptus wooden pole set has been specially assembled for setting up a 6,5x10m stretch tent. Eucalyptus wood is naturally strong, durable and suitable for intensive outdoor use. Thanks to their natural shape and warm appearance, the poles perfectly complement the organic character of a stretch tent. The poles are sand-blasted, which makes them smoother, reduces splinters and lets the wood's natural curve stand out even more beautifully.
As wood is a 100% natural material, the colour, diameter and shape may vary slightly from one pole to another. These natural variations give each installation its own unique and authentic appearance.
The poles are already fitted with galvanised eye nuts. They are therefore ready to use and can be used immediately to set up the stretch tent.
The set consists of:
- 4 wooden corner poles of 240 cm (diameter 5 - 7.5 cm)
- 6 wooden side poles of 300 cm (diameter 5 - 7.5 cm)
- 2 wooden centre poles of 360 cm (diameter 7.5 - 10 cm)
For an open set-up of the stretch tent. If it is necessary to close off one or more sides (for example to protect it from the wind), the shortest wooden poles can be left out at the appropriate side.
Treated for a longer service life
During production, the poles are treated with Tanalith E in accordance with applicable European standards and then carefully dried. Tanalith E is a more environmentally friendly wood treatment that contains no arsenic or chromium. It protects the wood against deterioration and decay, extends its service life and helps delay greying caused by UV radiation. After treatment, the wood has a bronze-green to greenish-brown colour, which gradually fades over approximately 6 to 12 months.
Maintenance and storage
Although the poles have already been treated against decay and premature greying, they can afterwards be treated with all kinds of additional products, including our neutral wood impregnator, which helps the poles keep their natural colour. Always store the poles in a dry, well-ventilated place after use. Never store damp wood in an enclosed or poorly ventilated area.
